Meet J Bohn Bishop

J Bohn has a passion for sharing things she loves, especially things made by small, women-owned businesses. Born and raised at Smith Mountain Lake, she is a leader within her community, maintaining a visible presence and willingness to help businesses succeed, serving on the Board of Directors for the Smith Mountain Lake Regional Chamber of Commerce, and volunteering for many local events. 

In addition to running JBohnBishop Mercantile, she owns social media marketing company, KEEPin' Up with J Bohn, LLC where she handles the social media accounts for over a dozen local businesses and organizations, bringing their brands to life online. In March 2021, J Bohn was presented with both the 2020 Tourism Advocate of the Year and Ambassador of the Year awards at the SMLRCC Annual Awards Ceremony.  In March 2022, J Bohn was recognized as the Leader/Community Champion of the Year for Smith Mountain Lake.
